High up in the sky, above the trees and the birds and the rooftops, lived a little cloud named Puff.

Puff was small and round and very, very fluffy. His edges were soft like cotton candy, and when the sun hit him just right, he glowed the palest shade of gold. All day long, he floated through the endless blue, watching the world below.

All the big clouds around him could do amazing things.

The big gray cloud could make rain. Pitter patter! Pitter patter! He would drift over the gardens and the playgrounds, and children would run outside with their boots and umbrellas, jumping in puddles and laughing.

The tall white cloud could make wind. Whoooosh! Whoooosh! He would sweep across the sky, making kites dance and leaves twirl, and everyone below would feel the cool breeze on their faces.

But Puff... Puff wanted to make snow.

"I want to make snowflakes!" said Puff. "Big, sparkly, twirly snowflakes! The kind that stick to your nose and make everything look like a magical wonderland!"

"You are too small," said the big gray cloud, shaking his head sadly.

"You are too little," said the tall white cloud, drifting away on the breeze.

But Puff did not give up. Every day, he practiced. He watched how the cold wind moved. He studied the way the other clouds changed shape. He listened to the whispers of the winter air.

One frosty morning, when the sky turned silver and the air grew crisp and cold, Puff felt something different inside him. Something magical was stirring.

He puffed up his cheeks. He took a big deep breath. He blew and blew and blew with all his might...

And out came one tiny, perfect, sparkly snowflake. ❄️

Then another. And another. Soon, a gentle shower of snowflakes began to fall from his fluffy edges, each one unique and beautiful, catching the light like tiny diamonds.

They twirled and swirled and floated all the way down to the ground, landing softly on rooftops and tree branches and windowsills.

A little girl looked up from her hot chocolate and caught a snowflake on her tongue.

"SNOW!" she shouted. "It's snowing! It's really snowing!"

Children poured out of their homes, their faces turned up to the sky in wonder. They built snowmen and made snow angels. They threw snowballs and caught snowflakes on their mittens.

Puff smiled the biggest, fluffiest smile a little cloud ever smiled.

Because even the smallest cloud can make something magical. And sometimes, the greatest gifts come from the smallest hearts.

The End. 🌨️
