Learning does not stop when the school bell rings! Here are our favorite educational activities for kids ages 4-8 that are so fun, they will not even realize they are learning.

1. Number Hunt

Hide numbered cards around the house and have your child find them in order. Great for number recognition and counting skills!

2. Storytelling with Props

Give your child a bag of random objects and ask them to make up a story using all of them. Builds creativity, vocabulary, and narrative thinking.

3. Nature Journaling

Head outside with a notebook and draw or describe what you see. Science and writing in one activity!

4. Kitchen Science

Simple experiments like mixing baking soda and vinegar teach cause and effect in the most exciting way possible.

5. Read and Quiz

After reading a book together, ask 3 fun questions about the story. Who was your favorite character? What would you do differently?
