Globalization has pushed the academe and parents to encourage their children to learn a second language. Not only will it improve chances of success later on in life but it also has benefits that cannot be overlooked. For instance, a bilingual child will experience faster cognitive development than those who stick to one language. Bilingual children are said to be better problem solvers.
