She earned her PhD in Control and Computer Engineering from ´ Ecole Nationale Sup´erieure de M´ecanique, Nantes, France, in 1989 (currently ´ Ecole Central de Nantes), and her Research Advisor Qualification (HDR: Habilitation to Direct Research) \u003cbr\u003ein Robotics from the University of Evry, France, in 2000.
