Documenting the last three years of political protests in Algeria

Algerian photographer Abdo Shanan (born 1982) has been documenting the Hirak, a movement of weekly peaceful protests taking place across Algeria since 2019 in opposition to political corruption and the current president, now on his fifth term in office.
