Sally Warner is the author of many books for young readers, including the EllRay Jakes series. She lives in California with her husband. They don't have any kittens, but they do have a dachshund named Jimmy Shivers!

Shearry Malone was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, but now calls Nashville, Tennessee, her home. She also has a cat named Princess, just like Alfie.
