"Acadia Fairies" is a children's picture book about a mother fairy, Pippa, searching for her son in Acadia National Park. She searches real locations in the park such as Bubble Pond, Thunder Hole, and more. By seeking help from animals, amphibians, and birds native to the park, Pippa demonstrates that we can cooperate with those who are different from ourselves. The poetic rhythm and rhyme of the story, along with colorful illustrations by Nero Bernales, will delight and educate children about the national park.
