Alexander Salamander is a happy wanderer who makes friends with a little boy who has the same first name. They go off to seek adventure but run into trouble. His human companion saves him through determination and a fresh idea, allowing them to go on to more adventures. The story is illustrated with black and white artwork as are the other children's poems which follow.

Author Biography

Joe Clark is the author of several word puzzle books and a book of chess problems. This children's book was inspired by his grandchildren and also contains the words from songs written for his own sons when they were little.
