Relationships can be complicated, especially when life gets in the way. We all know this. Sometimes we only get snapshots of the full storm that is someone's love life, the jealousies, betrayals, images, and conversations. Sometimes these snapshots are more like faded film, replaying as a collection of memories captured briefly in poetry, leaving us feeling like just Another Haint in the Holler.

Alex McVey is a graduate of Drury University with a Bachelors in Spanish. He lives in Ozark, Missouri.
