Autocardiography is a word I coined to write about my heart condition, atrial fibrillation (AF). I am not a cardiologist, but a physician board-certified in clinical immunology/allergy. When I discovered I had AF, I began a literature search to understand its potential consequences, particularly increased risk for stroke and heart failure. Serendipitously, I discovered scientific observations about magnesium (Mg) that were significant and underappreciated. Mg deficiency is present in the heart cells of ninety percent of individuals with AF, even if they have normal blood Mg levels. Another observation recognizes oral Mg supplements must be administered for at least six to twenty weeks to replenish Mg deficiency. The protocol includes selecting a Mg supplement with excellent published scientific data supporting its ability to replenish Mg deficiency in the heart cells of AF individuals. 'My Zebra Treatment Protocol' is low-risk and low-cost, effectively converting my AF to sinus rhythm. This book should be considered an educational resource only and is not meant to provide medical advice.
