Mikey McGee was a happy boy who loved his dad and mommy, his big brother, and his dog and cat. Oh, how the boy loved to play. Even when he woke up during the night, he loved to get out of his yellow bed and play with his toys.

All was well with Mikey until two monsters named Batrocks and Greenie came into his bedroom one night. And this was the beginning of his troubles. They kept coming back, scaring the boy, night after night.

Finally, Mikey told his dad about the monsters, and like a good father, he tried to explain that Batrocks and Greenie were not real but were just dreams.

Mikey insisted the monsters were real. His dad understood that they seemed real to his son and patiently helped Mikey learned Batrocks and Greenie were just dreams.
