Author Biography

Nancy White Carlstrom has written more than 50 books for children, including the popular Jesse Bear books (Simon & Schuster) and the best-selling Does God Know How to Tie Shoes? (Eerdmans). She lives with her family in Seattle, where she enjoys reading and birding in her spare time.

Linda Saport has illustrated many distinctive picture books, including At Your Baptism, Circles of Hope (both Eerdmans), and The Company of Crows (Clarion). Her artwork for the original edition of Before You Were Born was exhibited at the Society of Illustrators annual show. Linda lives in Boulder, Colorado.
