Author Biography

Adam W. Chase is the President of the American Trail Running Association, competed for two decades as a sponsored adventure racer and ultrarunner, served as an editor for Trail Runner Magazine, Running Times, Competitor, RunHaven.com, and Colorado Running Magazine, and currently writes for Motiv Running. Nancy Hobbs is the founder and executive director of the American Trail Running Association, council member of the World Mountain Running Association, and chairperson of USATF's Mountain Ultra Trail Council. She lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and travels extensively in the US and abroad.
