The different poetic pieces give a detailed snapshot into the lives of many people, yet sometimes the emotion is not always able to be explained. This book allows for everyone to experience the journey at their own pace, while providing a healing inspiration.

Author Biography

Shalisha Cook is a 2017 Bachelor of Science Graduate from New Jersey City University. She is an advocate for survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Due to writing being a hobby that she enjoyed as a child, she revisited the craft in adulthood and decided to self publish her own book of poetry.
