This book pieces it together by unearthing Ottoman archival materials combined with Greek sources and field research. His most recent books are Profiting Without Producing (2013), Marxist Monetary Theory (2016), and The Left Case Against the EU (2018).\u003cbr\u003ePinar Cakiroglu is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Crete, Greece. She received her PhD in Economics in 2015 from SOAS, University of London, UK.
