He is also the Wayne \u0026amp; Marcia Buske Distinguished Fellow in History, Hillsdale College, where he teaches each fall semester courses in military history and classical culture. He is the author of \u003ci\u003eThe Soul of Battle\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eAn Autumn of War\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003eRipples of Battle\u003c\/i\u003e, all published by Anchor Books.
