A true story, written in rhyme, about a young child and family raising a stranded baby blue jay. The bird grows up and is set free outside. He becomes a favorite neighborhood pet, as he interacts with every person he meets. It is a beautiful childhood memory for the author, and written so the story can be remembered by future generations.
