Author Biography

RETTA WORCESTER (1916-1990) was an American artist and the first woman to receive a screen credit as an animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Throughout her career, she worked on the films Bambi, Fantasia, and Dumbo, among others. She also illustrated many children's books.
