Alana White is the author of several books for young readers. The Missouri Association of School Librarians placed Come Next Spring on its Mark Twain Award Master List. Tennessee Librarians nominated it for the Volunteer State Children's Book Award. She is also the author of an adult historical mystery series set in Renaissance Italy.
