Late one night, \u003cbr\u003e surrounded by the darkness and uncertain future, Polusia\u003cbr\u003e Jaroshevich, with her husband Michael by her side, \u003cbr\u003e began to travail as she brought forth a new life. On\u003cbr\u003e September 25, 1891, in Bielsk County, Poland, Russia, \u003cbr\u003e she gave birth to a son, whom they named Konstantin.\u003cbr\u003e At the time, that part of Poland was under Russian\u003cbr\u003e occupancy, causing their joy to be mixed with fear.
