He is author or editor of seven books, including\u003ci\u003e Mondo 2000: A User's Guide to the New Edge\u003c\/i\u003e and\u003ci\u003e The Revolution\u003c\/i\u003e, and co-wrote Timothy Leary's last book, \u003ci\u003e Design for Dying\u003c\/i\u003e. He was a columnist for\u003ci\u003e Artforum International\u003c\/i\u003e and the\u003ci\u003e San Francisco Examiner\u003c\/i\u003e. He lectures internationally on subjects ranging from the implications of new technology to alternative politics.
