by Larry E. Lavoie (Author)

The transport of nuclear weapons to a dismantling and destruction site goes horribly wrong when the plane is hijacked and the President orders it shot down. With a military plane at the bottom of the deepest lake in the United States, Scott Tanner, a former Navy SEAL, and his partner, David Stafford are called into service to find the plane and remove the bombs while terrorists are still on the loose. While an indecisive White House vacillates over what branch of Government should handle the disaster, Tanner is piecing together the terrorist's bazar plot and is on the trail of two brothers, thought to be related to the disaster. Faced with impossible choices, he discovers his girlfriend is missing and may be in the hands of the terrorists, while her family is in the path of danger should the bombs explode. Meanwhile the enemy is on the run with the capability of detonating the bombs from anywhere on earth.
