HOLY DAYS and ANNIVERSARIES present valuable opportunities for deepening in the history of the Faith, in conjunction with our commemorations of historical events related to the Central Figures of our beloved Cause.
However, materials and references for these observances and on the events are scattered throughout the Writings, and some are not generally known to have been especially revealed for certain Anniversaries.

With these thoughts in mind, Dr. Forghani has drawn on his deep knowledge of Bah ʼ literature to assemble in one book guidance and appropriate readings for each Holy Day. For the first time such a compilation became available in English in1983 and since then it has proved to be a useful handbook for celebrating and commemorating of Bah ʼ Holy Days and Anniversaries. Materials provided in this compilation however should be taken as suggested readings rather than fixed and inflexible programmes.
