Author Biography

John Dalton was born in Detroit, Michigan. He went to high school in Windsor, Ontario and graduated from the University of Calgary with an Engineering degree. John has a residence in Grand Junction, Colorado although he is currently living on his trimaran, Kekona, in St Marten and is planning another circumnavigation. As an expert kayaker/skier who spent many years building ski lifts in the Rockies, he considers himself a 'mountain guy' turned 'tropo' and is most content when he is in the tropical Caribbean Ocean, sailing Kekona or surfing his kayak. John is presently working as a tramway engineer and his primary focus is to save our precious Rain Forests thru sustainable eco-tourism.
