Five well-known authors present a multidisciplinary vision on the artist's series "Possibilities of a Structure." This highly colorful and playful series--of which "Cosmos" is a subseries--has been an ongoing project since 1974 and comprises more than 590 works. Terrazas has explored a lifetime's worth of questions about the nature of the universe through the microcosm of his images. His work suggests at once a curiosity about the fabric of our universe and a profoundly human hope for an underlying rationality behind the chaos of the world. His visual reflections derive from a geometric language and a technique inspired by the Huichol tablas, from a Mexican indigenous tribe.

Eduardo Terrazas is a founding figure of Mexican contemporary art, known for his experiments with geometrical form and adaptations of Mexican craft techniques to contemporary art.
