The book contains a selected collection of exercises from the School of uncovering the voice and is intended as a memory aid for people who have experienced courses or lessons according to the method. You cannot learn singing from written exercises. Therefore, the book only becomes useful when you have this practical experience. The exercises touch different areas, such as breathing, soundleading and sound formation and go from the very first beginning to melodic sound exercises and also somewhat more complex sound connections. Larger singing exercises were deliberately omitted.

Author Biography

Born in 1976 in Berlin. Wife and mother of four children. Studied Music Education at University of Arts in Berlin with violin, singing and choir conducting as main subjects. She also studied Waldorf pedagogy in Hamburg and teaches as a violin teacher since 2001 and as a singing teacher since 2017. Sabine Wahlers is graduate of Christiaan Boele's training and pedagogical courses in the School of Uncovering the Voice, and has published notations from public courses, the training course, Kolisko- and pedagogical courses.
