When his new friends, Yuki and Joanna, agree to accompany him, they set out on a nighttime adventure that will take them into the bowels of the medieval city and confront the dark forces that are gathering against them.

Along the way, Sam gradually discovers more about his own character but starts to wonder which of his new friends he can trust.
