by Don Massenzio (Author)
Frank Rozzani is a struggling private investigator in Jacksonville, Florida, trying to keep his fledgling agency afloat while juggling an unsteady personal life and a growing list of questionable clients. When he and his tech-savvy partner Jonesy are hired to investigate a series of bizarre incidents involving threatening messages, suspicious deaths, and an increasingly erratic cast of suspects, what begins as a routine case quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. The clues point toward a shadowy figure manipulating events from behind the scenes, using technology and psychological games to stay one step ahead.
As Frank digs deeper, the investigation becomes personal. The targets of the harassment begin to overlap with people in Frank's own orbit, including Nancy, forcing him to confront the possibility that the case is not random at all. With Jonesy tracking digital footprints and Frank working the streets, they uncover a web of deception involving false identities, spoofed communications, and a perpetrator who thrives on misdirection. Every new lead only raises more questions, and Frank begins to realize that the real threat is not just physical-it's someone who knows how to stay invisible while pulling all the strings.
In a tense race to expose the truth before someone else is killed, Frank must rely on his instincts, his allies, and his own flawed judgment to outmaneuver an enemy who always seems one step ahead. Frankly My Dear blends mystery, technology, and classic detective grit into a modern thriller where nothing is quite what it seems-and where the greatest danger may be trusting the wrong person at exactly the wrong time.
Author Biography
Don Massenzio was born in Syracuse, New York, to first generation Italian American parents. He is an avid reader. Some of his favorite authors include Harlan Coben, David Morrell, Stephen King, and Hugh Howey. His favorite book of all time is 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Don began writing as a way to combat the long hours of travel and numerous hotel stays that are part of the 'glamorous' world of corporate travel. He uses writing as a therapeutic outlet. He recently took the jump to sharing his work with others. His first published long work is the novel, Frankly Speaking. It is the first in what will hopefully be a series of books focused on the character, Frank Rozzani, a Florida private detective. The book is a throwback to the days of pulp detective novels with a tip of the hat to Jim Rockford from 70's television and The Rockford Files.
