His second Ph.D. dissertation was written on the subject of apologetics. He taught mathematics from 1979 to 1981. Dr. Cagan is a published expert in the field of stock market analysis and is currently employed as a statistical analyst. His wife, Judith, is a medical doctor. They are the parents of two sons, John Samuel and David.
