Author Biography

Poet On Watch, Editor - is an southern rooted performance poet, screenwriter and music producer. P.O.W. works as an independent art director with various media companies, universities, cultural organizations, social institutions and individual artists across North America, North Africa, Canada and Europe. Poet On Watch has been published in two anthologies; Mother's Tongue (2000) and Mighty Real: An Anthology Of African American Same Gender Loving Writing(2010). She is also the author of two collections of poetry entitled Sageburner Simple Pleasure (2012) and Poet On Watch (1999) published by Freeverse Publishing Press. Poet On Watch is also the producer of the M.A.L.I. Woman's Film & Performance Art Festival Amber Williams, Editor - has been editing and writing professionally for over 15 years. In addition to freelancing, Amber worked as an editor for a peer-reviewed research journal for 7 years. She graduated from Bennett College with a degree in English and Education.
