Marie Mazas is a freelance editor and writer who has worked with many publishers including Nathan, Hachette and Bayard. She has created many popular picture books, chapter books and activity books for children. Her work often celebrates nature and ecological themes. She lives in France.

Joëlle Passeron is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure Estienne, where she also teaches illustration. She lives in France.
