Author Biography

Mac Gay is the author of several collections of poetry, including Farm Alarm, runner up for Texas Review Press's 2018 Robert Phillips Poetry Chapbook Prize, and, more recently, Our Fatherlessness, from The Orchard Street Press, Ltd. His poems have appeared in many journals, including Atlanta Review, Crosswinds, Cutbank, E-Verse Radio, Ironwood, Plainsong, and The American Journal of Poetry. He teaches at Perimeter College of Georgia State University and lives with his wife Jana, 2 dogs and 4 cats in Covington, Georgia.
