Author Biography

Maria V. Gallagher is an author, speaker, and advocate for pregnant women and their children. Her previous books include Joyful Encounters with Mary: A Woman's Guide to Living the Mysteries of the Rosary (Marian Press, 2022) and Mercy's Power: Inspiration to Serve the Gospel of Life (Marian Press, 2023). A former radio news reporter and television news producer, Maria's journalistic work has been broadcast on CBS Radio News and AP Radio News. Her work also regularly appears on the National Right to Life News Today and LifeNews.com websites. Maria credits CatholicMom.com for helping her hone her skills as a writer and as a mother. She holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism from the Ohio State University and a graduate degree in Journalism from Northwestern University. Maria is an active member of her parish and the worldwide Cursillo movement and makes her home in central Pennsylvania. She is the mother of one beautiful ballerina and a mentor to many.
