Bright hope, brave heart, true King
Negussie had a crooked back, a big smile, and a name that means "My King." But how could a sick, unwanted boy from the Ethiopian countryside ever live up to such a name?
In the middle of war, fear, and a cruel government, Negussie discovers something amazing: He is loved by the true King--Jesus.
Follow his true story through dusty roads, secret churches, jail cells, and joyful songs as he learns what it really means to belong to God.
This is a beautiful story for brave readers, full of hope, courage, and God's light shining in dark places. You'll never forget God's child--Negussie.
