Author Biography

Rogow translates French literature and was a co-winner of the PEN/Book-of-the Month Club Translation Award for Earthlight, by Andre Breton, as well as winner of a Bay Area Book Reviewers Award for his translation of George Sand's novel, Horace. He serves on the board of directors of the Center for Art in Translation and teaches in the M.F.A. in Writing Program at the California College of Arts & Crafts. He is the editor of a new anthology of U.S. poetry, The Face of Poetry, to be published by Uof CA Press in 2004.
