In Suzie's mind, she is a normal student that is excited about getting her picture taken for a special project. She soon realizes this project makes her feel like an outcast and others may view her as different. Somewhere during her daily and internal stuggles she gains confidence to make Mother's Day a positive experience, despite her loss. In a kid-friendly way, Suzie realizes there is more to life than a perfect picture.
