Author Biography

Sally Jo Keahi Manea is a retired epidemiologist, nurse and life-long student of Hawaiian culture, language and hula. Since the 1970's, she has been active with groups involved in the restoration of Kaua'i native habitat and cultural sites. She live in Wailua Homesteads on Kaua'i with her husband Tepairu Manea.
