KATHRYN WILLIAMS has loved animals--especially reptiles and other creepy critters--since she was a kid. But she's still got a soft spot for furry creatures and, of course, penguins! She lives and works in Washington, D.C., where she is a writer and editorial assistant at National Geographic Kids.
