In "Henry Has a Heart," a horse named Henry finds a lost puppy. Henry's heart is moved by the puppy's plight, and he takes him back to the barn to meet the farmer. While the puppy gets a new name, children are given a valuable lesson on the importance of kindness and friendship. "The book features fill-in-the-blanks which allows readers to name the puppy," Allan said. "My hope is that children will identify with the characters' feelings and remember to treat people with kindness."
