Mark Aiken is a professional ski instructor in Stowe, Vermont and an award-winning freelance writer. He's has written hundreds of articles about a wide range of topics including outdoors, recreation, and travel. His first Falcon Guide, Hiking the Green Mountains, 2nd Ed (co-written with Lisa Ballard) published in March 2022. Professional Ski Instructors of America will publish his forthcoming instructional guide, Teaching Children Snowsports. Mark is a member of OWAA (Outdoor Writers' Association of America).
