Author Biography

Karen J. Roberts was inspired to write children's books when she adopted her dog Louie on December 12th 2011 from the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, Ma. Her stories tell tales of lovable characters promoting animal kindness and responsible pet ownership. Karen strives to play an integral role as an educator in the animal rescue community to raise awareness about the importance of choosing adoption. Her ultimate goal is to help raise a generation of animal advocates to effect social change with regards to the pet over population issues in the U.S.
