Author Biography

Matthew E. Burdette is a theologian and an editor at Convergent Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House. He holds a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen, having researched the theology of Robert W. Jenson and James H. Cone.



Victor Lee Austin is the theologian-in-residence for the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and is the author of several books, including Losing Susan: Brain Disease, the Priest's Wife, and the God Who Gives and Takes Away (2016).
