Author Biography

Pfarrer Dr. Axel Schwaigert, Jahrgang 1968, ist der Gründungspfarrer von Salz der Erde MCC Gemeinde Stuttgart. Nach dem Studium in Tübingen (evangelische Theologie) und Philadelphia/USA (interreligiöser Dialog) absolvierte er sein Vikariat in Bournemouth/England bei der dortigen MCC Gemeinde. Nach seiner Ordination im Jahr 2000 begann er mit dem Gemeindeaufbau in Stuttgart. Seinen "Doctor in ministry" machte er an Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge/MA/USA. Er ist seit 2006 Mitglied im Theologies Team der MCC und ist Co-Autor des Glaubensbekenntnisses der MCC. In seinem weltlichen Beruf arbeitet er als Bestatter in Stuttgart. Seine Leidenschaft gilt dem Theater: Er singt, spielt und tanzt regelmäßig auf der Bühne des Kelley Theaters in Stuttgart, dem Theater der US Armee in Stuttgart.
