by Jonathan P. Slow (Author)

Joseph, the father of Jesus wandered out of the Egyptian desert two thousand years ago. He entered a confusing world of mixed cultures to confront the cultural and political issues that rocked the world of his time, and still do. His life became caught up in the maelstrom of events in Jerusalem that shook the world. This is his story, a fictional recounting of what it must have been like to live through those times with Jesus for a son. Joseph was unknown and still is. Nobody has even alluded to the interesting life he led except for two tiny mentions in the Gospels. We all know about Jesus agonies. It is time for someone to describe how it was to have a prophet for a son. The story of Joseph has been waiting two millennia to be told. This book is for mature readers.

Author Biography

ABOUT THE AUTHOR The writing task fell to the author, a psychologist by profession and cultural anthropologist by interest. Two years as professor in Baghdad and one year in Cairo gave him the opportunities to understand the lives of the people he writes about. The author has written numerous articles and books but has delayed sharing his understanding of these cultures until the right time and it appears that the right time is now.
