Author Biography

Jon B. Alterman is a senior vice president, holds the Zbigniew Brzezinski Chair in Global Security and Geostrategy, and is director of the Middle East Program at CSIS. Will Todman is an associate fellow in the CSIS Middle East Program and a fellow at the Syria Studies Centre at St. Andrews University.
