Low vision is about visual acuity, field of vision, refraction and assessment with magnifiers and for that matter optometrists will also find this book very useful in calculating magnification. Low vision assessment is a new area where students of Special Education, ophthalmic nurses and optometrists are not well-grounded. There is therefore the need to find a simple and practical way to help them. Introduction to Practical Low Vision Assessment is not a comprehensive guide to all the low vision services required by a low vision person, but just a start to low vision assessment.
