by Malcolm Hedding (Foreword by), Joan Lipis (Author)

"God will work when we pray. One of the major responsibilities of the Church is to pray on behalf of Israel and Jerusalem. "Prayer is not just a formality or a ritual, but it is something essential to fulfilling God's purposes. "It will take the combined, insistent, and persistent prayer of God's people to call forth God's intervention on behalf of Israel and Jerusalem. "As we pray we are promoting our own interests for world peace because God's ultimate government will be established in Jerusalem Finally, as we obey God by being concerned for Jerusalem, we are promoting our own prosperity (Psalm 122:6)." Derek Prince, 1968

Author Biography

Joan Lipis was born into a secular Jewish home. Her search to know God led her to faith in Jesus, who she calls "Yeshua." One day she was shocked to find a committed Christian who knew he was to pray for Israel, but didn't know how. The result was the daily prayer blog, "Lunchtime Prayer for Israel." Combining her love for the Word, her passion for Israel, and her devotion to God and Savior, she guides the reader through this 90-day prayer guide and commentary on Romans 9-11.
