Author Biography

Welsh was Associate Curator in the Department of Civil History, National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, 1959-1969. Welsh was Assistant Director General of Museums, 1969-1970, and also served as Director of the Office of Museum Programs, 1970-1971.
