Book Nine of the Dark Corps Adventure After getting new upgrades and leaving the desert, Timmy Barnes and Bear Company set off to find their friend Anna, who has been kidnapped by the Dark. They follow some strange animal behavior to a dense jungle, where they meet the members of the Jungle Brigade. There's something oddly familiar to Timmy about the jungle beasts--their personalities closely resemble a certain company of bears--but the two groups don't seem to like each other very much.

Frustrated by their constant arguing, Timmy sets off on his own to find Anna. But that may not be such a great idea, since a Dark spider lurks nearby, looking to catch some flies in her web.

Will Bear Company and Jungle Brigade learn to work together? If they want to save their friends and defeat this dangerous new threat, the answer had better be yes
