Mario Javier Saban holds a doctorate in philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid, a doctorate in anthropology from the Rovira i Virgili University-Tarragona, and a doctorate in psychology from Ramon Llull University. He is the president of the Tarbut Sefarad Jewish cultural association in Spain. His books include El juda﨎mo de San Pablo, El s畸ado hebreo en el cristianismo, and El juda﨎mo de Jes俍.
